Hey Teams,
Down in history goes another fun year of fishing league! The last week of fishing was interesting......you know you are in Minnesota when you go from almost 90 degrees last week to 60 degrees and parkas this week. It was a cold, but interesting night on the water.
The G-Rods made a run of it with 10 points, sweeping by Gulp This to take the 2nd place prize. Da Flu Flu's came up big with a 13.75" walleye and a crappie, tieing Team Hoots for the largest walleye catagory and allowing them to maintain 1st Place. The final standings have 1st Place going to Da Flu Flu's, 2nd Place going to the G-Rods, and 3rd place going to Gulp this.
Biggest fish catagories for Northern goes to Da Flu Flu's with a 31.5" northern. For Bass it was a tie between the G-Rods and Team Hoots each having a 17.25" bass. For Walleye it was a tie between Da Flu Flu's and Team Hoots with a 13.75" walleye (the only two Walleyes measured in all year). Highest overall points for a single week throughout the year goes to the G-Rods with 15 points.
The payouts are as follows: Da Flu Flu's: $362.50 (1st place $250, largest northern $75, half of largest walleye $37.50), G-Rods: $262.50 (2nd place $200, half of largest bass $37.50, highest points in a single week $25), Gulp This: $100 (3rd place), and Team Hoots: $75 ($37.50 half largest bass, $37.50 half largest walleye).
Way to go everyone......I hope that all teams had a fun year. I look foward to another exciting year for 2011. For anyone that is interested and can make it, we will be meeting next Tuesday night (9/14/10) at Jimmy's in Vadnais Heights at 5:30 pm for happy hour. We will recap on the year and money will be distributed at that time. If you are receiving any money and cannot make it next Tuesday let me know and I will get it in the mail. Take care and best of luck as we head into the offseason!
