Hey Everyone!
It was a very interesting week on White Bear Lake setting up what looks to be like another interesting week next week as we wrap up our 2012 season on Bald Eagle Lake. Congrats goes out to Team Hoots this week.....not for paying up their league fee, but for catching some nice fish! They managed to come in with 11 points worth of Bass....way to go! They passed up Gulp This to take charge of the third place spot heading into the last week. Another congrats goes out to the G-Rods for more than doubling their point total for the year coming in with the largest bass and northern for the night. Team Hoots sent me some pictures that they took on White Bear Lake, if anyone else took some pictures (I think that Gulp This might have) please send
Headed into the last week of action Da Flu Flu's are in 1st with 51 points, the Red Cups in 2nd with 47 points, and Team Hoots in 3rd with 37 points. For longest fish Da Flu Flu's have the longest northern at 30.75", the Red Cups have the longest bass at 18", and there has not been a walleye measured. If there is not a walleye measured next week, then we will have a drawing for the $100 bucks the last night at Jimmy's, so anyone has a chance!
MARK YOUR CALENDARS as we will be meeting at Jimmy's on Tuesday September 4th (the day after Labor Day) to hang out, talk about the season, hand out money, and have that potential drawing for the largest walleye winnings (depending on what happens next week on Bald Eagle Lake). I will send out more information on this in next weeks write up.
Next week we will be on Bald Eagle Lake taking off at 5:30 pm and measuring in at 8:30 pm. Good Luck to everyone and I sadly have to say this season will soon be over!
