Hey Ya All,
This was a very interesting week in many ways than one. First of all, the weather was on our side as the storms went right by us.....it was actually one of the better nights for weather that we have had. Second, the fishing was very good for most everyone.....there were alot of fish caught. Hats off to Team Hoots this week for reeling in a whooping 14 points! and nearly picking off the G-Rods for highest points in a single week for the season. Team Hoots caught a bunch of panfish including a 9 inch sunnie......making the standings interesting going into the final week of the season. Way to go Team Hoots! You will see that there are no pictures to show for tonight as we did not have a camera. If you took an
Overall standings have Da Flu Flu's in first with 42 points, Gulp This in second with 35 points, and the G-Rods in third with 33 points. Not far behind the G-Rods is Team Hoots with 32 points and Mr. Bubbles with 30 points. It is going to be a barn burner next week boys and ladies......this is what we live for in fishing league (fun times and fun compitition).
Mark your calendars for two weeks from tonight (Tuesday September 14th, 2010) for our annual end of the year happy hour at Jimmy's starting at 5:30 pm. We will be distributing prize money to the teams, talking about how the year went, and having a few beers. If it turns out that you are a prize winner and cannot make the Jimmy's happy hour let me know and I can send you the money.
Next week we will be at White Bear Lake starting at 5:30 pm and will be measuring in at 8:00 pm. Hope to see you there. Have a great week!
