Tuesday night was a very interesting night in more ways than one. First of all we all got very wet and fortunately knowone was struck by lightning. It was to bad that the rain and storms had to all start after we took off. I was looking at the radar beforehand and thought there maybe a chance that the storms would skirt north of us, well I was wrong along with the 7 weather channels that Captain Red Cup watches.
The G-Rods were in an accident with their boat on the way to the lake and are alright. Mike's truck is a total loss along with the other car in the accident. With exception of a few bends in the trailor, their boat is alright and they should be ready to fish next week. Hook, Line, and Sinker got to the lake and forgot their keys, and Da Flu Flu co-catain threw the RAM mount for the trolling motor overboard. Like I said, it was a very eventfull night.
We will be fishing again on Big Carnelian next week and are pushing Bald Eagle Lake back one week. We measured everyones fish from Tuesday and they will count toward next weeks total. So if you measured in three crappies on Tuesday then you will only be able to measure in three next week. Remember that you can only have a maximum of six fish of each species. I have posted the most recent copy of the weekly score sheet on this website with the updated points from Tuesday. Take off next week will be at 5:30 pm with the measure in occuring at 8:30 pm. Lets cross our fingers for some nice weather.
FYI, We will also be meeting at Jimmy's on the Tuesday evening following the week after our last week of fishing to distribute prize money and discuss how the year went.
Have a great week!
